Late Assignments / Make-up Work Policy
- Full credit is given the day it is collected, and there will be a penalty for late, but all work WILL be turned in.
- Make-up work is due the next day if only one day was missed.
- If you are absent on a review day, you will take the quiz/test as scheduled.
- If you are absent on a quiz/test day, you will take the quiz/test the day you return. You will miss the introduction of the new material since you are taking the quiz/test, but you are still responsible for the material.
- If you are gone for a school function, you are still responsible for the material we are covering in class during your absence. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to talk with me ahead of time; I will still expect you to have the assignments done and be prepared to take a quiz/test when necessary.
- If there are extenuating circumstances, you need to talk with me to make other arrangements.

Need for Assistance
- Algebra can be very difficult to lean on your own; attendance in class is very important.
- If you need additional help, you are always welcome to come in before or after school. I typically have meetings on Thursday mornings, but should be available most other times.
- Be sure to always advocate for yourself.
Calculator
- You will be required to have a calculator for this class. Any calculator will be sufficient.
- A TI-83 or TI-84 is strongly recommended.
- If you purchase a different graphing calculator, please be prepared to read the manual on your own, it is not my responsibility to know how to run your calculator.
Academic Dishonesty (Cheating)
- This is not acceptable in any way.
- It will not matter if you are asking for the answer or giving the answer, the consequence will be the same.
- Academic dishonesty will result in no credit for the assignment, quiz, test, project or final.
- There could also be further disciplinary action.
